CURATOR CHOICE AWARD
Mother has been selected for display in Rockport Center for the Arts' annual collegiate exhibition, Rising Eyes of Texas.
Hosted annually since 2007, this year’s show features the work of 33 artists from 13 universities and colleges across Texas. Every year, Rockport Center for the Arts hosts a statewide, juried exhibition for undergraduate and graduate students emerging in the visual arts. This year’s esteemed juror is Sara Morgan (gallery director, Art Museum of South Texas). The exhibition will be held in the McKelvey Charitable Fund Gallery. Exhibit runs March 7 - April 20.
Pan Dulce was selected to show at the Inaugural UTA | AMA Juried Exhibition 2024.
This exhibit opens at the Arlington Museum of Art on November 8, 2024 in the HELP Center Gallery. The exhibit runs through February 5, 2025.
This exhibition is juried by Emily Edwards. Edwards is an Associate Curator for the Dallas Contemporary. She, along with UTA and AMA, is looking forward to connecting with students and celebrating the amazing artistic community at UTA.
Together: A solo art exhibition that featured the work of Emma Valenzuela, who was an art student at Tarrant County College. Her work explored themes such as her Mexican heritage, religion, and family.
